What is the CPF?

The CPF (Personal Training Account) replaced the DIF (Individual Right to Training) on 1 January 2015. It allows any working age person in France (including job seekers) to have access to lifelong vocational training.

Since 1 January 2019, every employee in the private sector (excluding civil servants) has an individual account credited in Euros.

Easylingua is Qualiopi certified since December 2021.

Since October 2022 we are accredited by France compétences for the following certifications: DCL FLE (FRENCH), DCL English, DCL italian, DCL Russian, LILATE and Toeic.

The CPF is assigned to the individual and not to their company:  the Euro fund is available to the employee throughout a professional life, irrespective of the employer or employment status.

Who is eligible?

The CPF is assigned to the individual from the moment they enter the labour market until retirement.

The personal training account (CPF) may be relevant to the following:

  • Employees
  • Civil servants
  • Self-employed workers
  • Job seekers

Training courses eligible for the CPF

The CPF can be used for training courses that provide core knowledge and skills and can help to validate acquired experience.

To be eligible, language training courses must result in a language certification and include a language test to assess the level of achievement against one or more of the following standards:

  • TOEIC® (English)
  • LILATE (Italian)
  • DCL (Language Proficiency Diploma)

Languages eligible for CPF and certification

All our training courses are 100% remote learning and result in a language certification.

TOEIC SCORE: HOW IT IS DETERMINED

When you sit the TOEIC test, you take a 2-hour timed multiple choice test. This multiple-choice test is divided into two main parts:

  • TOEIC Listening (oral comprehension)
  • TOEIC Reading (reading comprehension)

Each of these sections is marked between 5 points and 495 points. The minimum score for the test is therefore 10 points, and the maximum score is 990 points.

It is important to note that only correct answers are counted in the score. It is therefore recommended that you answer all the questions, as incorrect answers are not penalised.

To determine your TOEIC level based on the number of points obtained, use this simple scoring scale:

  • Between 120 and 225 points: Elementary A1 level
  • Between 225 and 550 points: Pre-Intermediate A2 level
  • Between 550 and 785 points:  Intermediate B1 level
  • Between 785 and 945 points:  Advanced B2 level
  • More than 935 points:              Expert C1 level
